I was born and raised on my family’s farm in West Point, Utah, along the shoreline of the Great Salt Lake. My outlook on life and the law was largely shaped there, especially by my two best friends—my mom and dad—who equipped their young daughters with every tool needed to succeed, whatever that success may look like, and empowered us with voices that speak louder on behalf of others, even if a little shaky. As an attorney at Siegfried & Jensen, I aim to equip my clients with the legal resources they need to rebuild their lives, health, and peace of mind following an accident. I enjoy connecting with my clients, empowering them to advocate for themselves, and finding diverse ways my all-star team and I can add value to their lives—human responsibilities that can often be overlooked but are central to our success.
Before joining Siegfried & Jensen, I served as in-house counsel for a large consumer products corporation, managing an $845 million global risk and commercial insurance portfolio. My role covered real and cyber assets, product compliance, liability claims, employee safety policies, and overall risk management strategy. My efforts led to an $8.2 million annual surplus and a 77% overall reduction in insurance claims. I also managed service contract compliance, legal database development, and government relations initiatives for both federal and international policy. I have also worked in roles with the Elizabeth Smart Foundation, Harvard and MIT’s Broad Institute, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the Utah Governor’s Office.
I hold degrees in Law and Constitutional Studies and History from Utah State University, where I was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sisterhood and was honored as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Aggies upon graduation. I later earned my law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law, where I served as Student Body President, graduated with Pro Bono Distinction, and I met my now-husband on the first day of Civil Procedure class. In my free time, I enjoy spoiling our senior yellow lab, Mac Millie, diving into DIY projects (and sometimes finishing them), making friends in line at the grocery store, and creating memories with my family.
