# Utah Recovers $11M Annually from Medicaid Fraud Utah’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit has recovered and average of $11M per year for the time period 2007 – 2011. Other states with similarly sized recovery programs recouped an average of $3M annually for that time period. Why does this matter?
